These are used by lots of home brew guys, I've used a couple my self over the years, they're food safe and run from a DC power supply so it's easy to control the speed.
I have used these for many years. Its a 'whale' pump. They work easily off a 12v battery or a 12v wall slug. The racking cane slides up and down for racking. Black straps are cable ties.

I use those solar pumps for a number of things but not wash transfer because they're not submersible which means using a bulkhead connector and that means disconnecting watertight fittings every time you need to clean the fermenter.
The solution I came up with is to have my large fermenters on a height to allow running off to the boiler by tap so I built a couple of stands on castors for the purpose. Now, no more heavy lifting.
