According to the Turbo Clear packet, the finings contain an agent found in shellfish or crustaceans. Does that mean that people with shellfish allergies should not drink a product that was distilled from a wash that used the clearing agent?
My hunch was that none of the finings would make it through the distillation, but it would be better to be cautious than send a friend to the hospital.

I know no one wants to give medical advice here, but really, any insight to the shellfish allergies??
