i needed a st/steel blanking plug or nut and bolt and washers for my proofing bin
anyway went to one place just a couple miles from me,dont stock them but on their website they do ?? anyway came out of there and into plumbase which is accross the road from first place,they had none,but they did tell me to try another place about 500 yards down the road,i went in managed to get a small st/steel nut,bolt,and washers and i said how much,he said nothing as i used to know my bro (apparantly me bro and this guy was at school together) anyway on my way out i noticed a catalogge for st/steel gate and ball valves,so i said to him
any st/steel needle valves he said yeah theres one here it turns out to be a 3/8 npt,after explaining to him what its purpose for,he gave me a st/steel 3/8 reducing bush (x2)and st/steel 1/4 male tappered line connector,i said how much he said make him an offer,i said £3 (cos thats only i had in change plus a tenner to get some petrol) he laffs and says it cost £3 for two of the reducing bushes,i said i only got a tenner and i need to get some petrol on way back home,so i said il give you a fiver,well knock me down with a feather when he said yeah go on then,i couldnt wait till i got out the shop incase he changed his mind

i know 3/8 is gonna be big for a valve on my future boka it looks like im gonna have to modify the output pipe by stepping up from about 6mm/8mm upto about 15mm,but not bad for a fiver

just tryin to google the valve to see if i can find any details about the seals inside the valve

i think ive found summat that should cure my reducing size from 3/8ths down to 6mm couple of these should do job
