As Newbies just wanted to say Hi !!! to the Forum Drew & Lin
Hi
We bought the T500 back in September 2015 and its the best bit of kit we have ever purchased, I find it just unbelievable you can make and brew almost any drink that,s on the shelves, we are doing cocktails in a couple of weeks anybody got recipes please and does anyone have a list of the still spirits essences and their equivalent commercial names (ie: Southern Haze is Southern comfort)

Welcome aboard.
These have been discussed before, I'm not sure if there a definitive guide though. It will make an interesting thread.
Often a good clue is the artwork. It is says what the label cannot.

Welcome to the forum.
Most of the names are generic or fairly self-explanatory.
Triple Sec is a Cointreau type of liqueur.
Grande Paris is akin to Grande Marnier.
Scotch Heather and Skyebuie are both Drambuie-types.
Reverendine is similar to Benedictine.
Summer Cup is similar to Pimms.
Amaretto is similar to Disaronno,
Italiano is similar to Galliano.

Drew & Lin hi &
to our little place on the internet.
It seems Grunthos has done a wonderful job of answering your question....have fun sorting them out, and let us know what you both think of them.

Nice to see you here, stick around and share.
A couple of essences from the Prestige range that I recall are Baccara=Bacardi, not bad at all.
and
Cocorum=Malibu, not tried yet.
And Mash is correct, the label artwork usually is all the clue that you need to a commercial brand.
Now, when you have filled the cocktail cabinet, you may try for something a little more raw and time consuming in manufacture.
Or not.
Doesn't matter.
Stay safe.
Robert.

I tried the hambleton bard dry gin essence last night, very similar to Gordon's when mixed to 750ml, after tasting at 750ml I diluted with some more neutral to make 1 litre, not quite as good but still very drinkable.
