wondered why you have been quite on the forum recentley Phantom, thats a bugger with the wrist, bet that means a few weeks of work, plenty of time do do a few runs then..lol
The wrist is turning out to be a bit of a PITA! yes, I probably could do a few runs but it\'s not easy lifting anything larger than 1 gallon, one handed.
Plus, recently I\'ve been on a bit of a mission to work (before wrist incident) as we\'ve been struggling not to loose jobs etc so busy enough to not really having tome to run the still.
Either way, I\'ll be trying to get as much done as possible with crimbo beckoning....

yes i think we are all probably busy making sure we are well stocked for crimbo,i have got three more stripping runs left on the present wash then a couple of spirit runs plus another wash has been on the go for a week, and will start another one going at the weekend, plus got to fit a trip in to the HB shop at the weekend for a stock up on essences, so i shouldnt run dry over the drinking season.

What do you reckon on this idea Phantom,i can buy the SS reflux column for £135 and have found a stainless steel saucepan lid that is a good fit on the airstill and can buy the airstill lid sealing band for about a fiver, wondering if its worth the punt to turn the airstill in to a mini reflux,i should think the small amount of spirit vapour the airstill produces in comparison to the 25ltr job,the reflux tower should work very well?
