I built myself a 25 litre Airstill a few years ago, with a column for stripping and another for refluxing, and an air cooled condenser; hence it is an air still.
I used to run it through a power controller, and then after a few years it died, sort of, and now the boiler only runs at around 340 Watts.
I bought a new boiler that fits the same columns and can run at higher Wattages,
but TBH, I am enjoying the leisurely slow running of this decrepit still.
I am bonkers, but it takes all sorts.
And that is why I am here.

Nothing wrong with a slow running still ED.
Quality always wins over speed :)
Rather have a full bottle in front of me

How do you cool the condenser by air Robert? It sounds very interesting.

That is the Pot still.

This is the reflux column.

They are a long read.
Basically the condenser is a lot of copper, a large bucket and a domestic extractor fan.
The reflux column uses a second fan and a wooden box.
