It will take all afternoon if you only use one hand. Next time, use both hands lol.

Morning all that's something I've never made is beer i do like larger thou is it easy to make? And if so what's your favourite ones cheers

Beer is pretty easy to make, You can always try a kit and see how it goes.
If you think you may drink, and therefore want to make a lot, consider a brewing machine.
Me? I am a pretty lazy bugger.
I like beer and tend to buy all that I drink.
Sterilising bottles and keeping barrels alive just seems like too much work.
I also have a reputation to keep up with the recycling guys from the local council.
Collection due in the morning, as it happens.
We are now on once monthly glass collection.
The lady of the house staggered down the drive with several boxes of empties without complaint.

I am no longer a beer drinker. The quantity of liquid involved during a drinking session, is beyond my stomach's capacity

However, for first steps I totally agree with Gaza, there are some quite unusually good kits.

The point where one decides to go for grain brewing will vary. Though there will prove much to be gained, almost beyond comprehension.

If you are a beer drinker, do indeed try the existing kits as a starting point. Your very first brew will prove far better from the local pubs dribbles.

To be honest here, I fount that, after a barrel dropped clear, it was some weeks before, taste wise, it was at it's best.

Yes Toper kits have come a long way since the
days of Tom Caxton. I have been doing kits
for years and it is because of the results I
get that I have not defected to all grain.
They are also still very good value at about
40p per pint.

I think kits have improved massively.
To such a point that they come up better than a lot of commercial beers. Some of the beers in pubs are shocking.

Brewing from all grain does make a significant difference again. But the best of us can make an arse of it.

It's not price but taste for me. AG typically comes in at about 20p but if you start doing brewdog recipes it goes off the planet.

Its good stuff mate 3kg kits so 5% or so.
There is a wide choice, I very much like
the citra hop taste, dry hop gives lovely
flavour.

Get a kettle and try some.

Just don't get a new BM.
