I collect records and I use distilled water to clean them. I normally have to buy it but I've heard the airstill can do this? I didn't think it heated up enough?

Fill it with water, switch it on.
Eventually distilled water will come out.
Simples.

Yup. That's it.

I can only add, make sure it's clean if you have been using it gin botanicals previously.

you'll generally see it advertised for precisely that purpose. The fact that it can be bent to other uses is a happy 'co-incidence'!

To much of this distilled water, with a little tonic,
makes me fall off my perch. ;D

Peace On Earth and Goodwill don't work.

I remain a cynical and Sceptical old bastard.

Ho, Ho, fecking Ho.

So much on this planet that I cannot fix.

If I can stop just one person drinking shit moonshine, then I have done something.

Oh, MERRY CHRISTMAS ONE AND ALL!

The instructions say to add a bag of carbon? WTF I do not want that crap on my records. Why would they suggest that? Surely I'm fine just to stick in a couple of litres of water and press go? Will I need ceramics or copper at the bottom?

ALWAYS copper in the bottom.

It breaks all the bubbles up and stops a big
eruption from the bottom of the still.

This statement is based on my knowledge.
I therefore deny any knowledge of its existence.
