Re: SPP from Poland - seems cheap
Hi rtofvnt
How much SPP did they quote for? I'm guessing 150pln for 1.5 litres and 50pln for delivery.
Sounds like your having fun with your T500 did you change the cooling after adding your copper to make it go faster, a lower flow or warmer water can have the affect you have described as the collection rate is controlled by your cooling water, however the quality is also controlled by the cooling water and is opposite to the collection rate, slow=high quality, high %, fast=low quality, lower %.
But if your happy with results great :-)

Hi Anarvin,
Funny enough that works other way round - 50pln for metal things and 150 for delivery.
About my little modification - I actually didn't change flow / cooling - most of the time I managed to maintain between 55C - 58C (temperature of coming out water), but if you say so, next time I'll try to watch it closely and try 51 - 54 if it will make big difference.
Cheers - Matt.

Re: SPP from Poland - seems cheap
Guys , I am bough great reflux automated still fully copper from Poland for about £500 - similar price to t500 but much better quality. I highly recommend that shop for stillshttp://destylatorymiedziane.pl/en/
I got this http://destylatorymiedziane.pl/en/reflu ... movm-.html
put of 50l of wash I am getting 8-9l of pure spirit 96%no bad smell, absolute purity
When buying from Poland be carful as there is many cheap welders there that build cheap stills and than you just get pore quality product. I am married to Polish girl plus i can understand language very good as well. I am happy to help with any enquires or recommendation. Finally I got extremely good contact for reliable transport Poland - UK

I must comment that if it is really around £20 a kilo I wonder what wire they use and how they buy it so cheap. Stainless wire over here is about £20 a kilo on the reel, £15 at best. Maybe tbe mig wire was a bit cheaper. Forgotten now. How many litres a kilo makes depends on the thickness of the wire and the dia of the SPP. Forgotten those details as well.

No he's not. He's on my facebook list. Like me, he avoids some of the locations where the colonial redneck cousins hang out as there seem too many OTT fuckwits (yeah, ok, the sweeping generalisation is a bit unfair, some of them are good peeps, but many are just too much! ).....
I've got some good pictures of his still, which is indeed a beast.
Hence, a decent fella......
