I find best neutral needs your best wash.
Kale is very clean but you need to be patient
and not to much sugar. Basic principal 1kg per
5ltrs. Do more washes rather than more sugar,
often have 3 on the go at a time.
strip with copper ware on and spirit with the
column on. That can take 6 or so hours.
1to heat and 20mins reflux then building temp
slowly, collecting in 400ml jars about 20 of
them.

"Thanks gazza,im guessing it keeps the colulm cleaner longer as well ?
when you strip your kale wash do you collect down to 30% as i did with the Airstill ? if so im guessing a parrot would make this easier as well, looking for one of those as well now. :)"

I strip on my alembic until the temp probe reads 98c, that's about 20% coming off.

Just finished my Kale washes 30 mins ago.
Stripped 3x25ltrs on the Alembic over last
two days, ended up with just under 16ltrs@
52%. Worked down to 30%,
Charged the still today, column on, 25ltrs
about 32%. So 7.5 to come out approx.
Well collected 5.9 and shut off tails coming
in.I suspect I will end up with 4-4.5 ltrs
of hearts @ 93%. Oh forgot disguarded 400ml
of Foreshots so 6.3 ltrs collected in total.
Happy, used power thingy and water regulator.
Long run nearly 6 hours with 45 mins reflux.

@Jonx69

As I only use the column for spirit runs of neutral,
I have never cleaned or needed to clean it. I think
its being purified by 90 odd % alcohol it will stay
clean. :)

The pc box fits between the wall socket, and the boiler. ..you plug the pc into socket. ..then the plug from the boiler into the pc box, then using the knob on the box you dial in what power you want for the still.
