Re: Parrot perfect size for Airstill
Cut and Pasted from another site, written by the guy who developed the glass parrot.
The glass parrot has reached End of Life.
We will be moving soon and they are not worth taking with us. They are too fragile to ship even with the custom foam 'shippers' so we will abandon them. The foam may be useful as packing material for cushioning other items during the move.
Not all of my ideas are good ones. This one was an economic dud.
It was a fun project but it is over now. The folks that have one now have a collector's item. They will not be produced again and we will not sell any that we have in stock - they go to the curb in the morning and that will save us quite a few cubic meters of truck space when moving the rest of the stuff.
Good-bye glass parrots. You have graced our warehouse for far too long.
Amazing that the cheapest distilling parrots EVER produced did not sell.
It costs about as much as an alcoholmeter.
But I never know what is "a hot seller" until after at least 6 months after I create it.
The glass parrot was not one of the hot items, or even a good item.
Sadly, some 600 units will be tossed. But do not ask now! You have had your chance for 2 years to get one.
They are now distilling history.
RIP Glass Parrots.
