has anyone managed to refill one of these?

from what i can gather, its filled with carbon but the hole is very small and i should imagine a sod to get the old carbon out.

im only asking because id say the carbon in my dome filter is probably shot now and could do with being replaced but i dont want to pay silly money for a new dome filter if i
can refill this one

There is a post on here under the Essencia filter subject from Opus27,he has refilled his carbon cartridge,something that I will be doing at some stage.
