Re: Books

Loads of good 'uns. Kale, Lentil TWP
All very good and cheap.
I personally use Kale (with Allinsons)
for my neutral is very good and cheap,
easy to.

Rather have a full bottle in front of me
than a full frontal lobotomy

Re: Books
I don't think that books,or even online pdf's exist, other than any found in the annals here.

Re: Books
Unless you were aiming to flavour a neutral with essences, then you would distill and brew according to your finished product.
No?

Re: Books
“How about Books with Recipes for what you can make out of the Wash?,Whisky,Rum and Gin etc”
I usually (always) build a wash to suit what I want from it.
So I make from it what I intended to when I built the wash.
I suppose that's rather tautological .
Possibly you mean something more than contained in your question?

Re: Books
If you read this post you could conclude that peeps are hiding something.
That really is not the case. There really is very very very little written matter on the subject of recipes. There is a few on making moonshine recipes no.
Perhaps it is the nature of the beast. Perhaps this is because some of the commercial boys have a lot to lose - dunno but its just not there.
The only book I can think of is the Alaskan Bootleggers Bible.
I thoroughly enjoyed it as a 'read' end to end. And it covers a lot of brewing subjects.

Yes I know there is a PDF, but it is not a lot of money. That & it is the only printed book, I think we should perhaps support it.
I have quite a collection of alcoholic beverage reading [which I can measure in meters] and this is certainly one of the top few.
Buy it or get it as a Christmas present. It really is a good read AND there is a lot useful information & recipes.
