LME's had its bollocks boiled off to get it so concentrated so i would say hot break is done.
Where are you getting your LME from? 10kg would cost £100 up my way, I'm sure I've seen 1.5kg tins for £14.99.
I've got an old immersion wort chiller I don't use anymore, it was made by Joe at Leyland HomeBrew, like this one
