If you want, you can try this: get an alcohol resistant funnel (stainless steel or HPDE). Jam the neck with several cotton balls. And I mean really force them in there, put your back into it! Use that to filter your cloudy spirit. It will drip out slowly... If it is just suspended carbon dust, that should get it clear.

Thanks chuck, I am in the process of re distilling the lot. But i am well impressed with the results,no smell etc, really good stuff!
I will try your way of preparing the carbon,if that does not work there will be a Essencia filter going cheap!
