Funny thing about the human race is that we are always at our best when things are at their worst RIP gone but never forgotten!

There was a guy on the radio yesterday talking about war in general, and he said that he was amazed that people talk about "fighting for peace". He asked how can you fight for peace? it a contradiction, an oxymoron.

Apparently it was the undertaker who was surprised to find that the old fella had no family but the people at his rest home had some info about bomber command connections during the second......
The undertaker got word to the local RAFA lot, who beat the jungle drums at various locations......
Apparently, his funeral was attended by some 2500 who also thought you shouldn't go alone like that......
Yet I do suspect that more go alone than we'd like to believe. Life is what we make it, be it lively and surrounded by F&F or reserved and insular, on our tod !
