Distill with a high gravity!

Will it be alright to put some old demijons of wine I have through the still? The only problem is the gravity for them is 1020.
I read some where about not putting mash in the still if there\'s too much sugar.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi v4mpy. i ran a tommato wash through that stuck at 1020 a while back it came out ok at around 45% i finnished up with about 1,1/2gallon from a 25ltr wash,

thanks alan, I wondered if it might bubble in the pot if there\'s too much sugar left.

make sure you degas the wine first, ie shack the hell out of it i normaly put 3ltrs in a 5ltr plastic bottle and shake it up a few times
