asked in a chippy 2day for some empty pickle jars and the women looked at me liked i had asked if i can s..t in the fryer lol.

bought a plastic builders bucket and another plastic bucket slightly smaller so 1 fits on top of the other to drain and i could pprobably drain 5+ bottles in 1 go

take it that it works for you then mash. has the plastic ever tainted the stripped was?,not that it will be in there long

was the cheaper and easier option will find out in over a week or so when i try it out.

The plastic has never tainted the dribblings (freezer strip). They are typically 30% ish. Mine are only in the bucket for perhaps 30 minutes. No more. If you are that concerned it wouldn't be too much of an issue to use a food grade buckets or a stainless one.

yeah suppose i could use a spare fv or maybe buy a 10ltr 1 just for stripping. will give it a go and see how it turns out.

need to get another wash on in next few days aswell
