My new stainless steel filter

Post by samleeds »

After seeing the new SS pro filter, I asked my fabricator to knock me one up to my specks for door mounting and wall mounting. He came up with this, what do you guys think.

To me just over £100, to you, well that's another question, lol. Just goes to show how the SS pro filter is well overpriced at £185 if what im told is true and the SS Pro is made with those crappy clamps that you need 3 arms to fasten, lol. I prefer screw threads, much better and easier to construct. Plus with the lid on, the SS Pro gets vacuum stuck, mines got a breather tube which a piece of steel mesh blocks it to peskies but not air.

Mate that 185 was Aussie Dollars which is about £100.
I recon by the time they all finish thieving it will be
about £150.

Yes mate a very good effort.
As regards the SS pro we will wait and see!!
I still recon it will be about £150.
All the rest of their gear is a similar price here.!!

Looking good. Real good.

An airlock works both ways, so would make a good vent.
