I have had some thought on this and assumed 'Storage' was where to put them.....
Since I started distilling I have always had a pleasure In displaying my spirit in what ever bottle I saw fit. I used to put whatever it was in an expensive empty Gin bottle. After a time I thought no, I am proud of this so I had it as my own creation.
I have always raided my near by pubs empty bins for wine bottles. I use green glass, screw top for raw Spirits and I store them in wooden crates. I use clear bottles, always the same shape, tall as I can get, big robber, screw top for finished Gin etc.
I alwaus label them with a reference to the 'wash' or my Brew Diary.
I thought earlier today, my birthday next Friday, not too many instantly consumable bottles of gin around, best I create a few from liquids in stock hence........ I always use a fresh 'snap seal, screwtop' cap so I have the pleasure of cracking one open. You can see by the proportions of gin to tonic bottles how expensive tonic is currently.
When my friends visit, they are told, I have Gin, tonic, bitters, lemons or red wine. Anything else bring yourself. It is not surprising when they view 1/2 a dozen Gin bottles to consume their tastes may swing to the juniper, ....makes the company more interesting usually.

They look good.
Ghost gin, we found some lemonade bottles with flip tops.
Very nice indeed.
For gifts I like a clear bordeaux bottle with a cork and a clear shrink wrap. Black and white horizontal label. Minimal

I have thought further about this. Not Mash's comment....
I will during the week build 12 No. 11/32 dia port Orford Cedar shafts, each with a 175 grn bullet nose piles, each with 3 No 5" black fletchings and a nylon nock.
I will feel suitably armed at that stage. I may order a few broadheads from my mate Julian in America, although they are tempted to sail or lift before impact. Mmmmm we will see.
Unsullied by customs, is what I expect

Made some crates as well. Storage in the house was becoming an issue. I am obviously not drinking enough.

Currently, I have a 37 hour per week full time job (40 days holiday per year). Work 8 hours per week for a charity. Still have active 'commissions' completing arbitration and resolution for Developers and residents. Complete joinery tasks, small utilities, heating system conversions etc. Facilitate and install automated gates.
Look after my deceased daughter's grandchildren. Tease the wife and the cat.
Re-learning Welsh, tai chi and still doing the OU course on the science of alcohol. Distilling and keeping my hand in with a 65lb draw weight composite bow. I piss in the wind and know which way to face. I do make my own arrows. I enjoy ink drawing and water colour painting. My wife thinks I am a complete twat, I have practiced the art, I agree with her.
Yes plenty of time. I make it.

You have got a lot on your plate, it’s a wonder you can find the time to run a still for hours on end,WelshGin wrote: ↑Thu Dec 04, 2025 8:58 pm Currently, I have a 37 hour per week full time job (40 days holiday per year). After my wife and I 'downsized', I put all of my distilling equipment and spirit store into a 3 door wardrobe. It made everything a lot easi r to use, more accessible. I take out the stills to use them.
It tidied everything up.
