Hmm, I have been looking longingly at that - but have already had disapproving looks (I have previous on this subject) - it is very smokey inside the house?

No idea, he was away to Asda today to see what he fancied smoking!
I will report back once he's tried it out but he was quite excited at the prospect!

It is certainly good to send someone down a new trail.
For smeone that has not smoked before, it is a good trail to follow.
All sorts of stuff to try.

Review on the electric smoker:

:heavy_check_mark: It works well. He brought over some lovely smoked salmon and mackerel for Hogmanay.

:heavy_multiplication_x: He's been banned from using it inside any more as it made their stair smell like the smokehouse (they're in the upper half of an old converted house so the stair had seemed like a good halfway option apparently! )
It did bring back childhood memories of holidays in Arbroath though!

Cute giff.

But, Arbroath smokies for those that have tasted them!

There are some plusses for living on the edges.

Yup :) I like the East coast. Less midges!
Also as a student I took myself away for a few days. Got a week train pass and visited the Hebrides etc. Came home via Arbroath bringing back smokies for my dad. I don't think the other passengers appreciated it so much!

I recall a bus journey, many years ago, transporting Gorgonzola for my big brother.
The other passengers were looking around for the cause of the smell!
