I have a problem

Hi Guys

I've done some wash through my air still and took off 700ml added 300ml of water which has made me 1Lt of 40% alcohol. I've put the 1Lt of alcohol through my filter system after activating the filter with hot water. It started dripping into the container and after 300ml it has stop dripping, how do i start it again and what have I done wrong.

Pour in some water to wash out the rest of the alcohol.

I basically did what you suggested and activated it again and it started going again and finished filtering the rest.

Just for future reference how long should i leave the carbon filter in hot water to activate it.
