Well if nothing else, it\'ll be a damn sight quicker then my SS super reflux.... which I\'ll probably convert to a pot still, to do stripping runs.......

how long does ya ss reflux take to do a wash?
Very dependant on how the reflux chamber is packed. The "supplied" ceramic saddles, about 6 to 8 hours and up to about 85% ABV. With proper rashig rings, about 8 hours plus, but up to about 89/90% ABV. I\'ve also messed around with copper mesh, but as yet, haven\'t managed to perfect the amount or density of packing, it\'s either too lose and I get the same as the rashig rings or too tight and it ups the reflux ratio to stupid amounts and takes forever i.e. 12 hours plus....
I\'m still saving up for mine. Sob.
Ah, well, it took me a while to get most of the readies Jimmy, but the crimbo cash topped it off and I decided to take the plunge last week. Actually I\'m still intending a DIY build as well, which would work out cheaper but it\'d take me a while to get the bits and get it built.....

you are going to love the simplicity of the unit mate, make sure you use the distillers conditioner from day dot
