You can even buy an overpriced butterfly pea extract if soaking a few flowers in gin is too much work for you:

https://www.amazon.com/Blure-Flower-Ext ... 00NAIL7QU/

You can also do chameleon cocktail voodoo with red cabbage juice:

It works (well).
Tried Butterfly flowers in basket, no change.
Puy 6g in an old clean cup with some warm water
mashed it with a spoon.
Result ,ink black and added to a litre of gin
just make, shook like mad in a swing top.
Left for 2 hours (call of nature to pub).
Filtered into another swing top.
Taste test added 5ml to a G&T, blue nice,
added lemon PINK??
Think the girlies will love it >:D >:D
Now have stock pot to add as and when :) :)

By the way no real difference in taste on the gin.
Got to be a party winner this one.
A lot cheaper than the concentrate :)

If I was trying to explain the word esoteric, I would only have to direct people to this thread. :D

I am considering:

Butterfly wings macerated in the dew collected from spider's webs, to obtain overtones of Morning Glory picked at the demise of a New Moon rendering a haunting fragrance of long departed fairies , wrapped in barley muslin.
