Daydreams - Your perfect still

I have been looking at the StillDragon site today (amongst others)

It strikes me there is an awful lot of shiny out there - some I would use some I wouldn't.

Which got me designing my perfect still. Other people must've been here before so... What's yours & why?

may I be the first to answer?

Well, our perfect still will be one day in our own craft distillery:

In a farmers house, that is also our home, it will have a show room and a tasting room, all set very stylish but rural, I like to say: organic modern is the style.

The still is in reality of course more than one: one small one, let's say 4" on a 150l boiler with bain marie and agitator (you need that in Austria, we make very good apple brandies) for trial and new recipe, and one or two big ones, 8" or more for the production (this one is heated with steam - or with sun power - who knows?) For the big one, the 1000l boiler would do, or two.

As I have a garden for the herbs, we also have a Gin basket kit, of course... I would go for a crystal dragon, because people like to watch when the magic is done.

I am pretty sure, we will get there one day, but first we have to find a decent farm, which is quite impossible on a tight budget here, and then, there is also the small question, where we could find the money and time to put everything as it should be.

But as I said - we will get there! And I promised my son the tree house!
