hello ive got some wine finings that have a best before date of april 2013 , would they still be ok to use ? do finings ever go off ?

I guess it would depend on what type of finings they are ?

I use bentonite which is a form of clay so it doesn't really go off .. pain in the butt to use though lol

Hello

I use Youngs,or Wilko wine finings,they are in a sachet marked a&b so they are all ways fresh and they work well.I tried another brand that came in two bottles after i opened them they changed colour after a few weeks presumably they had oxidized. If yours are unopened they should be OK.
