The heat has to go somewhere, and it's out through the roof. Stands out a mile to a helicopter equipped with a thermal camera

Sure can. Some growers line the roof with insulated reflective foil.

Don't forget nailing the curtains in the closed position, and adding a little extra something to stop the UV showing.
While looking for information on the use of lime in building construction, today I stumbled upon two sites devoted to growing that magic weed.
