Hello Ladies and Gents, I'm Neil from down here in the Southwest of the UK. I have owned an airstill for nearly two years and I came across this site earlier today.

I have been using the still to the instructions since I bought it and have it going as I type. All this heads and tails distilling is new to me and its obvious that I have been missing out on something so I have plenty to read up on from the forum threads.

No doubt there will be plenty of question to follow so I will post once I have had a good look around.

All the best

Neil

Hi Neil..Welcome to the forum...same here mate, I joined back in Nov.

I wrote "Hi to everyone on here, I stumbled across the forum while looking for info on Airstill. What a great site"

I use to folllow the instructions that came with the Airstill, because I didn't know any better. Now I'm turning out neutral that don't smell of nail polish, all thanks to the guys on here.

Have you found the PDF file that AM wrote yet? if not here's the Link

Thanks for the welcome Icefever, nice to meet you mate.

I know what you mean about smelling like nail polish. I can see that the members on here really know their stuff, and it will be great to learn from them.

I'm already thinking about my first grain mash so I think I better start learning the basics.

The nail polish smell is acetone. Most of it should come off in the fore shots.
