So I’ve done the taste test... Overpowering cardamom flavour. I think it may be due to using cardamom seeds rather than pods. 1/2 a tsp (heaped) must be the equivalent of quite a few pods. I could just about get juniper under it but not much else. I’ll still be drinking it though! Overall I’m quite pleased just need to get the mix right.

Quick question: if using a colander how / where do you support it from?

Put some legs on it,3, use Ebay S.S.m2 or M3 studding
nuts and washers to suit.
Rather have a full bottle in front of me

Would have to be a very shallow one for it to sit above the liquid?

No above the vapour trail, just so you can put the
lid on proper. So 6inch or so!

The idea is that you adjust it with the legs so it sits snugly up against the head. so everything come through the bots.
