55 gallons of wash is a big undertaking,
What size still do you have? Even with a 10 gallon still you are looking at 6 or 7 strips which means that you are going to have a 55 gallon fermenter partially occupied for quite a long time. Each time you take off one strips worth you are increasing the risk of an infection.
I work on 5 gallon of wash costing around £6.00 or £7.00 if it goes wrong then it is not a big deal, but losing a wash costing £70.00 would be a different matter.
I think I will stick with my one and only 5 gallon bucket.
