I assume you mean to eat, not distill.

I am less fond of the ground pork ones. There are sausages that are similar and very delicious.

I thought Salami was a fermented air dried sausage.

Yes, Salami and many other kinds of dried sausages are fermented. And a few fresh ones too, though those are more rare.

Actually, pickled eggs are as rare as jellied eels in Ireland where they are generally considered to be Sassenach foods. Even delicatessens here don't generally sell them. then again, it's almost impossible to get real Irish Stew in Ireland too.
