Refilling Essencia filter
As it is almost impossible to find Alcotec
carbon, all seem to be sold out!!
Would Still Spirits Z filter carbon be
suitable to refill the cartridge??

Seagull beat me to it, I ordered some last week and as far as I can tell it's exactly the same as the Alcotec product
Always give the hardest job to the laziest person because they will always find the easiest way to do it.

Wait until the ceramic filter needs replacing and you have to sell a Grand child into slavery to pay for it...
Somewhere in this topic is a post of the bottom of my ceramic filter falling off, allowing me to clean it up and fill with new carbon.
Currently that is still going strong and doing what it should.
Sometimes the equpment that this hobby calls for, or is aided by can seem expensive, sometimes there is a work around, make it yourself etc, servicing is usually low cost.
It is mostly fun though.
Robert.
