Just taken a reading and it's 1.050 that's about 6.5 ABV at the moment.
I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

This is only my opinion and method.
And is posted for information.
It may be worth trialing for yourselves.
Any wash/mash/brew that I run is tested daily for Ph.
Anything sweeter than 1.020 and below PH 5 gets Bicarb of Soda thrown in.
Seems to work for me,scientist that I am

This might be a better way of doing it. I tried the bath bomb at the start method and found no gain.

It definitely helps, I've only had 1 big pH crash with a Frosties wash but after 2 big spoons of bicarb it soon fired up again & finished out dry. It scared the living day lights out of me when it went in though, high school chemistry class had all but left my brain until that massive foaming fizzing mess was heading out of the fermentation bucket toward me!

youve made me pull my finger out and try it icefever :-). I got 20L of.molasses and used 50g of blended kale, it's gone off like a rocket! Lol, after one night and day it's still going mental, I can hear it from outside my shed lol. Definitely the most angry rum wash I've ever done!.

Because it is soooooo neutral (more so than Trono) I think we should be thinking of it as a nutrient rather than an ingredient.
I am going to try it on a cereal wash.

I was never satisfied Trono was neutral for some reason so dropped it long time back.

I may be off topic here, but I consider my lentil variant and bakers yeast wash to be be more neutral than any Turbo that I ever tried.

I tried it to be sure. Not impressed. I added the result to my bucket of "cleaning fluid"
