Don't think you need to ditch it. The brilliant thing about this hobby is 99% off the time you can redistill and start again.
Indeed this if the hobby that mops up your beer and winemaking "experiments"
Without more details it will be hard to tell what happened. What did it taste and smell of?

Yeah will run it all again 4l not sure tasted like it was off thats the only way can explain it

You need to be a lot more ponsey - think Jilly Goolden.
And taste it again.
Then have to keep tasting it until we get it.
Bit like charades, with alcohol and the Internet thrown in
