Well I was in the supermarket yesterday to get some more lentils and saw some pearl barley next to it and broth mix and green peas etc......thought to myself well, if lentils work.....who knows!
Decided to swap the lentils out for the same weight of pearl barley but otherwise follow the recipe exact and see what happens! Worst case I loose a couple quid but worth a gamble :)

Hmm not sure about dried pea wash, but I'll be interested to learn how the barley turns out. I'm going to have a bash at the wonderful wheat wash that Mashy posted the other day for my next brew.

Smells better than the lentil one as well so far..... no one minds me posting this in here do they since it's just an experiment? Just wondering if I should make a new thread......

Ahhhh lol, I tend to do 3x25's in 1 go tho I did get a container for 220l
Takes all night to run tho lol
