Old copper water storage tank
Hi all just a quick question, just had a new boiler installed (combi) and now have the old copper tank from my loft in the garden anyone got ideas on how to turn her into a pot type still it's also got a working immersion heater element in it too seemed a waste to let em take it away

Hang on to it...stick it in the shed/garage until the times right. I've done the same...when it comes to building your still it'll be waiting for you.

I tried to be normal once, worst two minutes of my life.

You could always weigh it in, £2.40 per kg of copper round my way, the people who fitted the combi at my old house took my old hot water tank without asking, I didn't think at the time until it was too late

A couple of years ago,I was in a scrappy, watched a shipping container being tipped on end, poured full with copper scrap, then mounted on a lorry, weighed, sealed, seal photo'd and sent you know where.
