You can buy bottle sealing wax. Surprisingly there are about 4 suppliers in the UK. As for clay ???

Is this just a little pretentious?
Or just a bit of fun? :)

If no-one sees you except you, then it's pretentious fun, if you do it hoping people are watching you and will be impressed then it's pretentious, if you do it with friends while mocking pretentious people then it's shallow fun, if you do it knowing easily impressed people are watching then it can be fun and/or marketing, if you do it and sell it as being vodka shat on or out by a golden goose for £50 a bottle then it's genius.

edit and yes, I was in asda yesterday. £35 for grey goose? How can any neutral be 3 x more neutral than a neutral neutral?

You can buy big blocks of simple bees wax (for candles and wood polish). If you want to you can colour it. I bought a 5 kg block years ago and am still using it.

I have used it on wine bottles before now. Just melt some in a small container and dip in the bottle, repeat as required. Easy.

A bean tin in a pan of water works well. Bain Marie stylie. No waste and washing up either.

If I was going to do this I'd make a stamp/seal or get a ring made, use candlewax and put my mark on it.

If anyone wants a pair of Golden Geese to shit on their corks, I am the man!
They are normal colours right now, but I have Gold spray paint, and two unwanted geese!
