Hello Everyone
Hi,
My name is Rob and i have just got into distilling, starting small with the air still, but thinking of getting another to spruce up the volume
I must admit, its pretty neat, i did my first run few months ago, hmmm baileys was spot on, going to try and play around with the profile kit
I have seen some bad reviews on the air still, some good, in my eyes, this is a very decent system to start with and getting to learn the hobby and also enjoy as you go, which does gives you confidence
Regards
Rob

Re: Hello Everyone
Welcome aboard Rob, you ignore the naysayers about the Airstill, it's a great piece of kit to learn on and you can produce good quality spirits if you follow the right procedures and a few basic rules.
Any help you need is here all you have to do is ask.

Re: Hello Everyone
Size and length of time, were the two reasons I move up to something larger. It always worked well for me (still does when I break it out).......
That said, it seems like a lot of readies moving up to a T500, but damn, it was worth every penny......

Re: Hello Everyone
Hi Rob and welcome, I haven't been posting on this forum for long myself, but the advice you get is the best. I too started with an AirStill, nice bit of kit.
Always give the hardest job to the laziest person because they will always find the easiest way to do it.
