What I Did Today
Re: What I Did Today
Relatively slow few days, the fishing was cr*p, and my Vodka Star wash has stuck, other than that, all is good in the garden.
Most of my infusion jars are full and I have managed to acquire enough bottles for present.
I found an old Harris filter in the back of e drawer which I will re-commission today so that I can get the last bit of rubbish out of some of my infusions.

You speak of things that I know not, - E drawers and Harris filters, but sound to be on top of your game.
Wishing you well with it all.

Re: What I Did Today
Very busy morning, I have the air still running in the kitchen with a parrot beak in place so I can get the correct timing for my runs, should have done it years ago but didn’t have the kit.
My other project this morning is a gallon of chicken Jalfrazi cooking away on the cooker, smells delish.
If I have any time left I will set up my filter and try to put a shine on some of my cloudy infusions.

My pen has small mesh so I don't get problems from wild birds. There is always a cat milling about the pen looking for vermin and any bird that comes within range. But if push comes to shove I will comply.

It's the fecking Peafowl that pose the biggest challenge.
They are not considered captive birds, just like reared Pheasants, and roam several acres.
Busy weekend ahead. >:(

Re: What I Did Today
All in all it has ended up a reasonably good week.
I have sorted out my Vodka Star problem, in my area it just needs heat, problems solved and will be using Vodka Star from now on. My resurrected Harris filter has done a great job removing the small debris from my infusions.
I am coming to a full stop on distilling as the Airstill has filled all my demijohns. I normally fire it up first thing every morning and leave it on a timer for 3 Hrs, that is how easy it is, no stress.
Got some pears at the market yesterday and will be infusing them with brandy next week, and it will be feet up until 17 after that.

I looked at the sad chucks locked away in various prisons.
Then later went and informed them that bird flu had reached Lincolnshire, and that they would not be coming out to play any time soon.
Went and poured a stiff drink.
