Lentil Wash
Re: Lentil Wash
Well I was in the supermarket yesterday to get some more lentils and saw some pearl barley next to it and broth mix and green peas etc......thought to myself well, if lentils work.....who knows!
Decided to swap the lentils out for the same weight of pearl barley but otherwise follow the recipe exact and see what happens! Worst case I loose a couple quid but worth a gamble

Hmm not sure about dried pea wash, but I'll be interested to learn how the barley turns out. I'm going to have a bash at the wonderful wheat wash that Mashy posted the other day for my next brew.

You are close enough to topic for me.
Some of us have strayed further.
Best of luck with the wash, and do keep us informed.
We do like to hear how things turn out.

Wife asked why the hell do I need a 2kg bag of lentils whilst out shopping?
Told her I'm following Neil from the "Young Ones" cook book. Hippy food!!
