Added raisins to my last wash..

Postby Sonnyinbc » Tue Feb 10, 2015 1:10 am

I read on here that someone added some prunes to their wash. As I had these raisins sitting in the back of the cupboard, that had cemented like a brick, decided to add them to a VS wash with 5kg of sugar.
The wash is finished fermenting and is brown. Scooped the raisins away that had risen to the top. And going to add Sparky to clear tomorrow.

Is it still going to become clear, or will it stay brown??

Maybe wishing I hadn`t added those raisins now :-\

It should clear, but will be a shade darker. Raisins are good food for yeast.
