Just wondering if there's much difference in the amount bakers yeast per litre
Used across the board.
Also add it dry or hydrate it first

I use 3g of bakers dried active yeast per 1 litre and always rehydrate first
Always give the hardest job to the laziest person because they will always find the easiest way to do it.

If you make a starter with bakers yeast you won't have to worry about aerating the wash as the yeast will already have grown to provide about 10 times the amount of dried yeast ;D

100 gr of yeast per 90L of wash for rum or vodka. Bit more for cachaca.

I guess I also use way to much but 50 grams of live yeast from Asda works well for me with bubbles through the airlock within a few minutes
