Whiskey Profile Kit
I've just tasted my 'Laphroaig' clone which I made using the Still Spirits whiskey Profile Kit. Okay, it isn't exactly the same, but it is pretty damn close. Having read several threads from others, I cut the glycerine in half and am very happy with the results.
I'm looking forward to try a few others.

Re: Whiskey Profile Kit
I have to agree,Laphroig was one of the better ones that I tried, tasters claimed it tasted of Linctus, just like the real deal!
If you get something else that you consider good please share,my box of little bottles currently sits unloved upon a shelf,as I am unconvinced it is the way to a decent end product,(favouring mash ingredients and some time on wood these days).
Some of the more generic flavours are very welcome, chez moi.
Ouzu,Pimms copy, and some of the rums in particular.
Whatever works for you is fine by me,that must be why hostelries sell such a wide range of drinks, right?
We is different peoples.
Long may it remain so.
Robert.
