Neutral base/ Vodka
I'm not a vodka drinker, hence the following question.
Do any of you drink the neutral clear spirit as vodka or do you need to add the vodka essence to make it pallatable to vodka drinkers?
Regards, Ian

Neutral base/ Vodka
Hi Ian
What I do is make sure it’s 50% to start with and drink it as vodka but mixed 50,50 with ginger ale or traditional lemonade but never straight at 50%, i did invest in a 25 mil pourer of ebay so i know exactly what’s in the glass, that’s not to say i don’t end up having more double shots than singles.

Neutral base/ Vodka
I have never used a vodka essence, and I have always drunk the spirit as it is for 'vodka substitute' - done correctly, it actually tastes of nothing so I guess that the essence adds in a bit of the flavour that commercial vodka has. However, I drink with mixers so I don't need this, perhaps if you drank it straight you'd know the difference...?
