The third of these is probably the better detail, but to me parrots are as much about "art" as science.

I made one and it was not pretty, works fine but ugly, I love to make as much as I can but the Chinese offer products so cheaply I wonder why bother sometimes, take a look at this, I'm tempted.

I'm still procrastinating, I just cant get past 'I'm one of the guys who make stuff rather than buy cheap shite from Cheeena'.
I dont have the right size stainless tube in stock so I'm not in a possition to make one anyway...
Makes you wonder what the difference is between this one and https://www.stilldragon.eu/en/product-collection/119-product-collector.html.

I did notice that the China one is made with 304 stainless while the still dragon one just says stainless steel and gives no grade. Maybe this difference is the stilldragon one is 316 grade.

Parrots don't have to be SS, copper is much easier to work.

Yes you are right Robert. I’ve ordered the Chinese one cos it was soooo cheap and looks the business. I think in time I will make one out of copper but getting the keg tigged and cut is higher up my priorities

Arrived at my door this mornining..that’s astonishing ....I only ordered it at midnight on the 29th May !
It’s a fab looking bit of kit to rival the SD stuff. And as a bonus the declared value for the customs (which I got stung for) was only 25 USD.
Well chuffed paid an extr@ £10 to customs and delivery/ handling.

Most China-land sellers down value their exports for the shipping labels.
I am more curious to the declared description, do HMRC now know that you have recently bought a Parrot?
In a cardboard box?

Lol
The description simply said ‘pipe fittings’ the capacity of the parrot is exactly 250ml which means just wait til it’s full the open the bottom valve to dump the foreshot ..... simples
