Don't be afraid, be very, very afraid....
Tonight while responding to another post, I wanted to paste a link to a retailer, so I opened a new tab and tapped in their name.
The whole first Uncle Gogle page did not show their site, but the third entry from the top was a link that brought me right back to this site, and a post of mine from last summer where I mentioned their name.
The closest that I have come to Google ganging, or whatever it is called these days.
It came as quite a surprise.
Sleep safe, or live dangerously.
Robert.

There is no ONE way.

Re: Don't be afraid, be very, very afraid....
I've had it also over a year back, it came from a search I did on columns or something to do with them.
I clicked on "images" and loads of photos came up with what I wanted, and lo & behold there was photos that I recognised from the forums I'm on, this included not only mine but guys I know on here.
Only this week I had a scary one, the parcel from China was waiting at the Fedex depot.
The card said that they had tried twice to deliver, (which was not true as we have builders repointing the brickwork) they didn't see anyone.
On the card, it said log on to Fedex site and arrange a date and time for delivery. I did, I typed in the tracking number only to be told that it was wrong.
At this point I'm getting pissed, I noticed a phone number for the Coventry depot. I thought I'll ring them tomorrow to sort it.
Closed the site page down......2 mins later our phone rang....when Mrs Ice answered it guess who it was???
Yup, your correct....FEDEX....the guy said he'd seen my attempt to find the parcel...
we sorted a time out for the morrow...but this opened my eyes to what can and does happen over the net....that scary..
