I'm guessing the price is +vat but I'm sure they said free delivery and with a choice of valves which we don't need so should save a little on the price
Can't believe the price of Cornie kegs is now £65 for second hand and around £100 for new!!!

Hi Icefever
I'm tempted to sell a cornie and buy a real keg for about the same price!
I found a company in Preston, they recondition kegs http://www.morrow-brothers.co.uk
The reason I need one, is the weight of my column is now too much for my stockpot boiler lid to handle, with the torpedo, crystal section and all the other bits, I bet it weighs 10kg!!

Just gone to the checkout page on the first place I said with the new kegs, it's £25 delivery + Vat on the total, still think it's not bad for a new one, be worth picking one up if I'm passing to save on the delivery

Just an update on the reconditioned kegs from the place in Preston, they emailed me with a price of £50 (ex works) so that's before VAT and delivery, I pass by this place quite often so £60 for a reconditioned 50lt keg if you collect, not bad, you can't even get a 19lt cornie keg for that these days!!!
