Pyro, I have exactly enough room for 3 x 23 litre fermenting vessels on top of a chest of drawers. I haven't measured but imagine it's somewhere
around 3 feet.

Having recently had to remove three small diseased apple trees (Fire Blight which had spread from a Rowan tree), today I planted two Apricot “Flavoucot” trees.

No work today as her who thinks she must be obeyed has commandeered my services for Christmas shopping, over an hours drive both ways.

On the good side, I will be able to get some 2Ltr Kilner type jars. Wilko stocks a jar
of a superior quality to the original, and half the price. I will also get one of those special trays for microwaving bacon.

More important, there is a Chinese restaurant which has a very good and cheep lunch menu.

Just loving the way that some of the retired wallahs here think that doing your own thing is work :D
For some it is something that we squeeze in after work.

No jealousy here ;D

Work, I think I remember that, I use to say that I was employed, didn’t really call it work. Got up in the morning, went walk or drive about, drank tea, played on my computer, spoke with the occasional punter. Did my distilling on company time and premises and kidded my employer that I was necessary. After such a hard life I am now reaping the benefits

My run to the big town was a bit hit and miss, the Chinese was closed, but I managed to get 2 x 2Lt Kilner type jars for £2 a pop at Wilko.

Got home to find that my latest brew had still not started to bubble, the problem, it was down to old packets of turbo yeast, so I sapped it a new packet, and Walla! All is OK.

Relatively slow day planed, bottle my Peach Vodka and start infusing a pack of Blueberries in Vodka. Then sort my fishing tackle out for the weekend.

I wouldn't mind, but for the man coming back with what sounds like Riley's life!
I'm not sorry he missed the lunch.
And he deserves the fish to not take the bait! ;D

I better not say that after a very heavy night on Wednesday night, I only got out of bed at 8am Friday morning? (apart from getting up to pee).

Anyway, 2 strip runs done today of semi cachaca if there is such a thing (half golden syrup, half sugar and dunder from previous batches).

OK, the above reads like you slept thru a whole Thursday.
Is this possible, and can directions be bought online?

I got up, peed, had a glass of oj, looked out the window, didn't like what I saw and went back to bed, but yeah, I essentially skipped Thursday.
