The heat has to go somewhere, and it's out through the roof. Stands out a mile to a helicopter equipped with a thermal camera ;D

Sure can. Some growers line the roof with insulated reflective foil.

Indeed, Mash, and they also use old tyres to insulate the walls..

Don't forget nailing the curtains in the closed position, and adding a little extra something to stop the UV showing. ;)

While looking for information on the use of lime in building construction, today I stumbled upon two sites devoted to growing that magic weed.

This thread is now so far off topic, and is moving onto areas that it shouldn't, I am going to lock it after this post.
