What I Did Today
Re: What I Did Today
My ferment bucket has been waiting since last weekend for its clean out.
Shit....just remembered, I have one of those. They take 3 days to thaw out.

Re: What I Did Today
I have been waiting for this time of year when you can actually get stuff done, outdoors, now it is here, there is so much stuff, that I wish it would go away!
I have just spent a week of "spare" time settling on a new email provider and new phone.
Hopefully it gets easier from here
Robert.

That's exactly what I got her for Captain! Although I'm not entirely sure what I'll do when I do see it starting to foam? Turn it down? Stop, get some gloves & add more pennies / butter?

Re: What I Did Today
I find having a beer reduces the anxiety
it usually dies down, if the foam is popping and not going any further up then keep going, if looking more serious (going further up), turn down.

Re: What I Did Today
Oops I did it again!
In the early hours I spilt a large drink on the laptop, and it is not happy.
In fact it is dead.
That is 3 in 7 years
I have had to resort to a much older one with fewer knobs and whistles, thankfully it was fully backed up, and it is just the time to be spent in copying stuff over.
And looking for a full time replacement.
Pleased that I backed it up yesterday
Feelin' stoopid for spilling the drink >:(

Re: What I Did Today
Today I went out and continued mole trapping the last farm on my list.
I got another 4 and there are 4 left.
With the sleet and snow I came back looking like the sludgey mud monster.
Not happy, but the mole rate has increased today, retrospectively
I just want to wrap this part of my daily toil up by the weekend, there is higher paid work awaiting.
Mole trapping is just an excuse for long walks in the winter.
Oh, and I also managed to drink a prodigious amount of my product, so may actually get my ass off to bed soon!
Robert.
